Photographer Rex Holsapple

I have been a student, teacher, manager of foreign exchange risk, chief investment officer, and consultant. Photography was a hobby through all of this. About ten years ago, I became dissatisfied with the technical and aesthetic quality of my photographs. After struggling to improve for year or two, I came to understand that my photography was unlikely to be much good as long as I spent only one day a week on it. I quit my job, and now I am a full time artist. I do believe the commitment of mental, emotional, and physical effort has improved my photographs. The change from left brain to right brain thinking has also been interesting, and it is almost certainly a continuing journey. I have studied privately with Paul Caponigro, and I have attended workshops conducted by Ansel Adams and by John Sexton.
